Week 14, 2026
We wandered by and popped into Sebastian Kakigori — a very cool Japanese dessert place — with my daughter. It was truly an experience. A group of young people sat at the table next to us, and we chatted with who I presume was Sebastian, the owner. They were spending the day “café hopping”, and he was generously giving them suggestions of places to try. It’s wonderful to be able to do that kind of thing with my daughter now. And one of the things I love about living in Melbourne is that you can stumble across places like this on pretty much every city block.
