Melbourne Popfest

It was great to catch up with old friends at Melbourne Popfest. The day had a very familiar feel that took me back to playing shows in the UK — something about the style of music, the number of bands, the setting, and it being during the day.

One of the highlights was seeing people so into The Cat’s Miaow. Some had even travelled from Singapore to see them. The band is so of a particular time and style, and they clearly captured that moment and people’s imagination.
